Diane Lewis - MOUSIE Powell

The LPGA Founders Award only acquired that name in 2019.  For its entire history prior to that, it was named the William and Mousie Powell Award.  It was Mousie Powell who created the award in 1986 partially in honor of her actor husband William Powell who died in 1984.

Carrying on the golf tradition a group of women golfers named Desert MICE, play a summer league and donate their entry fees to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.  Ask your local women's club about joining the Desert MICE.
